Neptune stores and online from September 2020
Neptune invited me create a new series of paintings inspired by their Autumn 2020 collection. The four new works have been reproduced as high quality prints entitled 'Affinity I-IV'. They join my 'Deeper' series that was released in 2019.
With gentle swashes of paint, bold daubs of colour and lines suggestive of hills and grasses, this print by Miranda Carter, part of her Affinity series for us, has the feeling of a rain-washed landscape but is also full of dynamism and movement.
I've tried to incorporate at the olive greens of the season, with suggestions of landscape whilst leaving the viewer free to create their own interpretation.
