PHASE
Paintings that show skies swelling above indistinct terrains, suggesting moments of gathering pressure, release, and transformation. Approaching storms, form and dissolve. Each work captures a different atmospheric phase —unstable, changing, and in flux.
They reflect the emotional and perceptual experience of a changing atmosphere: awe and magnitude, verses uncertainty and instability. They engage with the idea of the sublime - as beauty and as potential danger.
