'Thaw' considerers the shifting landscapes of a warming world, and the tension between control and instability. Each painting captures motion, water, drifting horizons, and dissolving light.

 

Painted across three canvases separated by slim wooden batons, the works balance structure and fluidity. Vertical and horizontal interruptions offset the expressive brushwork and shifting colours.
